Riverpod 3: what changed and why

Riverpod 3 trims the API so there's one obvious way to do most things.

Notifier is the default

Use Notifier and AsyncNotifier for state with logic. The older StateNotifier still works but new code doesn't need it.

Testing got easier

ProviderContainer.test disposes itself after each test, and overrides read the same as before.

What to migrate first

Start with providers that hold business logic. Leave simple Provider and FutureProvider declarations alone — they didn't change.
